As we approach the 4 year anniversary of South Sudan's independence, I want to announce an upcoming event, @LDengF's South Sudan Unite. In the spirit of peace and unity, I'll be hosting an evening of celebrating the arts and culture on August 29, 2015 in D.C. This is very important to me, because the time is now to focus on our oneness and identity as a people, rather than our differences. It will be a fun night of live music, fashion, and coming together to remember the diverse beauty that makes up our young country.
