Sisyphus - the character in Greek mythology condemned to eternally push a boulder up hill only to have it roll back down again. I've thought about this a lot especially after @krakauernotwriting shared his powerful short called 'The Sisyphean Paradox' which talks about Camus's re-interpretation of the myth. In Camus's version Sisyphus isn't doomed but has found joy in the suffering- "His fate belongs to him. His rock is his thing…. He knows himself to be the master of his days…" -
