About the shot: Getting to this ancient sandstone formation is a bit like a treasure hunt, with no direct trail and only a map showing the natural landmarks to follow. After wandering for 3 miles in the desert, you walk into these incredible petrified sand dunes that were sculpted by wind and water during the Jurassic Age. If you know where to look you can even spot dinosaur footprints still preserved in the sand.
How it was captured: The GoPro was low to the ground to capture the surface texture and set on 0.5 sec time-lapse mode while I walked around to give me a variety of images to chose from. #GoPro #arizona #Travel #Summer
