Twenty years ago, Nike introduced the Air Max 95.

Simply put, the shoes were unlike anything the brand had done before; the minimal Swoosh branding, the visible forefoot Air, and the black midsole was truly against the grain and quite the ambitious risk during an era when Nike Running had some catching up to do.

Designer Sergio Lozano stayed true to his original concept and with the help of Tinker Hatfield, the young designer, who had no experience designing running shoes, put together one of the legends of sneaker history.
