#FunFact from AP CEO/Founder, @mikesheaap: Local promoters had booked legendary UK post-punk band New Order (essentially Joy Division without Ian Curtis) to play a club in Akron, Ohio. The band cost them a chunk of change and the entire show ended up being a huge fiasco when the band only played for 15 minutes and then walked offstage, citing numerous issues they had with the show's production. It became the big drama in town, so we put the story on the cover. We acted more like a local alt-weekly, in this case. We had also traded the 11 x 17 high school newspaper format of the first three issues for the standard, newsprint tabloid format that a lot of city newspaper entertainment sections would use for their weekend pullouts."
