So many people told me Bali was a true paradise and always wanted to go there. December 2014 I was by myself at home and I decided to book a ticket for New Years for Indonesia. Soon on a plane all alone flying to the other side of the planet. Pretty exciting! Right? I saw beautiful places, met wonderful people, had local food, surfed, met monkeys, drove on a scooter (who's been there knows the unique experience about riding in Bali) but there's one thing that shocked me, how dirty the water was, how much trash thrown on the beach and the unbearable smell in some areas.
