When I first started drumming,
I was incredibly inspired by this man, @トラヴィス・バーカー.
I first took notice of his work when he would drum along side #DJAM. Something inside me woke up and I knew I wanted to learn the drums. In 2009 I took a hard hit by losing someone in my family.
So I decided I'd lose myself in the drums. I studied him as a source of inspiration when I first picked up my sticks. He's been very kind to me over the years and keeping in touch via email and going to his shows.
I meet him last night, after 5 years of learning and studying a lot of his work, and he was as humble, well spoken and sweet as can be. A complete survivor. Much love my friend. Thanks for doing what you do bc it inspires so many.
