20 years ago today my mom survived an attack on her life, she was shot twice in the back of the head in a domestic violence situation.. & left for dead. She is the reason I'm such a fighter & never gave up. This was taken at her 50th birthday in November & it's a moment I never thought I would see. I'm 2 weeks away from being the same age she was when it happened, with a son the same age I was at the time.. I can't imagine what she went through to be here for me still. I love you Mom. You are tougher than nails.
