I remember taking this pic the day I landed in LA. My fans were already throwing up the SU-FI at shows by the thousands and my reverse rock n' roll devil horns were solidifying unity with fans while all the while distancing me from naysayers that would not have liked my comedy no matter what branding came into play.
All I know is artists I loved always had their own "symbol" and I wanted to have one to identify me as well. Jerry Lewis had his famous side profile silhouette. Steve Martin's white suit, Dice and his leather jacket. I always loved the idea of a the SUperFInger and wanted a sign that was all mine and it has been for a long time.
I've tried and failed at a bunch of stuff. Sometimes I kill and sometimes get killed. That's actually what I'm more interested in. Growth and change and creating something new. More to come. Much more.
