Solene, this beautiful 24 year old Angel, passed away last week in an accident in France. She Loved our foundation and wanted to contribute to it one way or the other. Do you know what her Love accomplished? Her beautiful parents collected money from her friends, family and teachers at her funeral and sent to us more than 2000 Dollars. This is the proof that Love transcends time and space. When I received her parents's email I cried for hours. I cried of happiness of course because even though their baby is playing with our Karmita and Labaito, Love once again conquered all. I asked her parents for permission to write about her child and they said yes. Solene had the Heart of a Lioness, and like the purest Lioness that I've met, she left us earlier than expected. No words will ever console her parents, I guarantee you that, but a smile will come to their faces when 2 million people around the world are touched by her daughter's last action on this planet: She helped make this world a better place. She taught us a lesson and helped save the life of a Lioness and her 1 day old brother, which I have named "Sol" and "Fuego" after our departed Angel.
