Meet little Annie, the Long-nosed Bandicoot! She was hand raised by surrogate mum, Ashley, until she was old enough to make her debut at the Australian Nightlife exhibit. She now lives in the backyard exhibit as an ambassador to her species, teaching visitors about the vital role bandicoots play in natural ecosystems. These animals are fantastic pest controllers, hunting bugs, grubs and even funnel web spiders!
