Saw this last night with @アシュレイ・ベンソン and I was floored. what an incredible, raw, painful and brave feat of storytelling. #arielleholmes and the brothers #safdie are amazing. It's a difficult thing to dramatize addiction without glorifying it and this film gives a beautifully sparse and brutally honest look at what If often an ignored, and misunderstood world. If you're old enough I highly recommend it if not. Wait a few years. I think it will be worth the wait.
