What happens when dug out canoes meet water falls? You unpack, put everything on your shoulders (including boats), and sweat profusely as you portage around. Waterfalls like this one explain elements of biodiversity (or lack there of) on our descent and exploration of the previously unexplored Cuito River corridor in the Angolan Highlands. We are continuing our coverage of the corridor now, looking at water usage throughout the country. It's important to remember that the majority of water that feeds the Okavango Delta flows from Angola.
