A #glory is always a pleasant sight to see. From what I've read it's an optical phenomenon produced by ice crystals suspended in cirrus or cirrostratus clouds. In this case the Suns light is reflected and refracted by the ice crystals in the clouds to create this beautiful halo prism effect. We saw this one at the #CapeOfGoodHope yesterday here in @southafrica. It hung around for a few hours until the clouds broke up and it slowly dispersed.
