On @nationalgriefawarenessday, thank you so much to @ella_thaii for speaking so vulnerably and eloquently about grief . Reach out to a grieving friend months after the initial loss. It will still be raw . Also-grief and loss is not always about losing someone to death ... It can include loss of hope ,friendship , one’s view of the world and one’s privacy or dignity. Last slide is the best book I have ever read on the subject of navigating grief and loss and how little we as a society have been taught how to navigate it for ourselves and for others x love to all 💜 @optionb @refugeingrief @ella_thaii
