I’m really proud of it “protocol” is my collab with hessian and able joseph when I made this record I was living in venice beach. had just released my album. at the time I was obsessed with hessian’s “white lies” record (still am. think I’ve played it at nearly every show on this tour) and I wanted to make something with him. able joseph and I had already been talking about doing something after I heard him on grum’s album. everything just came together really nicely… all without ever having actually met in-person! that’s how “protocol” was born.
