Cool to see this 25 year old shot from NYC. I remember putting those Icon Face posters up and thinking it was a very visible spot. The Obey icon face was a brand new and streamlined image at the time and I was happy to see how well it read from a distance. This shot is a bit of evidence of the posters cutting through the visual clutter. I miss the Jones Diner too, because I was broke in the ‘90s and survived on cheap but hearty food.
