As many of you know Hammy was adopted from a shelter back in 2012. When I first took him home, both of us were very nervous. For me, he was my first pet as an adult and I wasn't 100% sure what I was getting myself into. For Hammy, he spent his first months on the street and was scared of literally everything. It was stressful first few days and weeks for both of us, but in (relatively) short order, Hammy and I became best friends and have been inseparable ever since.
